The History

SMET was born in 1975 by Luigi De Rosa, the actual President, who, continuing the activity founded by his father Domenico 20 years before, has given life to one of the major European players in the transportation and logistics sector. The headquarters in Salerno, the 9 branches in Italy and the 5 branches in Europe, represent the most evident sign of a constant process of growth and of internationalisation that the Group has ever seen in the last few years. A project that looks for innovation of processes, performed with qualified resources and aimed investments which have allowed SMET to become a privileged partner of great multinational groups.
